Our room was perfectly clean and cheap and complete with four beds, all the facilities and bathroom. We were in a particularly good and unbeatable location not too far away from Mao'er Hutong. All the staff was incredibly nice...

Everything was excellent from the excellent service to the good food. The rooms we had were beautifully decorated and with four beds and clean bathroom and garden views. Location: the hotel was very close to many attractions and the popular places.
Some people working there were not very friendly.

The breakfast is good and the check-in was early, but the beds in the room with an en-suite were very hard.

The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. She changed our room immediately after we complained the smell in the room, though the second room was only a bit better. The location is quite nice, close to many restaurants and the Airport Express. It is very basic.
There was sewage smell in both rooms. The rooms were cold when we arrived, which took about two hours to warm up. No tea/coffee bags in the room. One hotel staff asked some very personal questions. It's at least 20 minutes walk from the Dongzhimen underground station if you have luggage, not 10 minutes.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Beijing. The location in a charming hutong area was perfect - away from the touristy hustle and bustle, but still close to subway line 5 and within walking distance of several attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The rooms had a unique character with all the necessary facilities, including a comfortable double bed. I also appreciated the breakfast being included, a great value for the price.
The shower pressure could be improved.
